It's "Mudder's" Day!

"Mudder." This is how my most precious son says "mother."

So far, my mother's day has been excellent. Hubs got the WiFi working on my new/old laptop. Then he took the kids to get breakfast and to Wal-Mart. So coffee + bonding time with my new/old laptop + Pinterest + peace and quiet = a damn fine Mother's Day. And now Hubs is cleaning the kitchen. Uh-may-zing!

By the way, this is my first blog post written on my very own laptop. Can you tell I'm super excited about my laptop?! See, my neighbors had an old laptop they didn't really use anymore. $25 later, she is all mine and I couldn't be happier.

Anyway. Mudder's Day. The woman who raised me didn't give birth to me, but she is my mother. She is the one who sacrificed and worked hard to help shape me into the woman I am today. She rocks. 

Today, (and this may seem strange) I am thinking of all the moms I know. This group of women I know are such an inspiration to me. Without their constant support and encouragement and help, I'd be lost. They are truly selfless and are constantly showing me how to be a better mom. I am learning from them each and every day. I am so very grateful to have them in my life. 

Finally, I'd like to give a shout out to the 2 people who make this day possible: my kids. (Okay, their dad helped make them so thank you to him too.)

That's my girl!

These two little people taught me to believe in love at first sight. They've taught me more about love and life and everything in between than I ever thought possible. So to my two little Preciouses: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your mom. I may suck at it sometimes and I may screw up, but I love both of you with all my heart, with all my soul, with all that I am and ever hope to be. You two are my heart and soul. So, rock on, Little Ones. Mama loves you very much!
