I really don't have much to write about.
I had a root canal done last week. It was a crazy experience - having someone digging around in your head. Was it painful? A little. It wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. The 5 shots of Novocain I got helped. After, I had hydrocodone and that helped too.
I kept praying God would help me relax. I was so nervous and tense. So, God answered my prayer. I know he did because as I lay there with my mouth open and the dentist digging around in my tooth (seriously, it sounded like a construction zone), a Barry White song came on the radio.
"Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe."
I wonder what the dentist thought when I started to smile. It took a lot of work to hold back laughter. Especially after he started whistling the song. It was crazy. The lyrics of the song are weird too while you're getting a root canal. I think that's what was making me want to laugh.
Let's face it: Barry White is bedroom music. Every time I hear a Barry White song, I want to jump into some red lingerie and climb into bed. So it's just weird to hear that at the dentist when you're having a root canal done.
This post doesn't make any sense, but I keep reliving that moment and I still crack up.
