So after Glenn Beck called Obama a racist on Faux News' morning show Fox and Friends, colorofchange.org sent me an email and a petition to sign. Their goal was to get at least 50,000 signatures and to get advertisers to pull off of Glenn Beck's show.
There has been a small victory today! Three advertisers are backing away and that is exciting. I hope more do, because that wackadoo really needs to be taken off the air. Not just because he called Obama a racist "who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or white culture" but because 3 seconds after he said "I'm not saying the guy doesn't like white people...I'm saying he's a racist." See? Wackadoo!
Also, there's this. It's at about the 3:15 mark Beck loses it. It's actually really amusing and when I want to bust a gut laughing, I watch this. I giggle my head off. It makes me giddy. Lil Miss actually told her brother the other day "Get off the computer!" in the exact tone Beck uses on his radio show. So stinkin' funny.
Anyway, I'm glad we've had a small victory today.
