30 Days of Happy, Day 15: Decorating for Halloween

I swear we have more decorations for Halloween than we do for Christmas. We spent the weekend buying the kids' costumes and putting up our decorations.

Husband got really into it and created a graveyard out of the river rocks in the front. We strung up ghost, pumpkin and orange lights on the house and a strand of orange lights up a tree. We still have cobwebs to put up. A witch is on our door.

I love Halloween. Today, the kids dressed up and practiced trick or treating. It was the cutest ever since Lil Miss had on her grass skirt and bikini top and Lil Man was in a pink, sparkly dress with feathers. These are not their real costumes. Lil Miss is going to be a pumpkin and Lil Man is going to be Spiderman. Cause he's a boy. And cause he can.

When we were in the store Friday night, Lil Miss announced very loudly "I want to be a witch like you Mama!" But she did go back to the original pumpkin costume. If you didn't know she was talking costume, it really is a very fitting statement to make.

We need to get our pumpkins and we'll be golden. I love Halloween. Did I already say that?
