"Get over yourself"

Those are the words husband said to me this morning after we had a fight about the power bill.

Who is to blame for the almost $300 bill?

It sounded as though he was, once again, finding fault with my actions and none in his. And so I defended myself. He got super mad and decided he would storm from the house to work. Whatever.

So I emailed him and told him that I am sick of everything being my fault.

He then tells me he was also blaming himself and "get over yourself."

I sat there reading those words for a minute and then all of a sudden I just started laughing. I laughed so hard I woke up my kids. Really? This is what it's come down to? Petty, high school type comments because our electric bill is scarily large?

It's completely ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as that fight about how I changed the channel before he could see the end of his show (which, by the way, he still thinks is a perfectly valid reason to be angry with me).

It's just funny. Maybe we should have more sex. hahaha
