4 Years Ago.....

Four years ago, this little boy entered my life.
He's realized who he is related too.
It's been a wild roller coaster ride since. It's never been easy peasy with him, but I would never want to change a single thing about him. Sure he was colicky. And he's never been a good sleeper. And sometimes he's so frustrating, I want to drink morning, noon and night. But, he's many other wonderful things, too.

He's curious about his world and eager to discover it. He always wants to know how things work and why. The great thing about this is, I get to discover how to fix things. See, he's always keeping my brain functioning. (And sometimes, this isn't that awesome of a thing, but really, not that big of a deal either.)

He's strong-willed and doesn't back down. This complicates a lot of things, but at the same time, I love he's so strong-willed. And it keeps me on my toes to discover new ways of doing things. (This may sound like he's spoiled and we bend to his will, but believe me, we do not.)

He's so super smart. No, really, he is. As Husband says "if only he'd use his powers for good rather than evil!" Hahaha The kid can read too. He says brilliant things like: "I'm going to get the moon because I don't want it to be day time." Did I mention he's imaginative as well? He's also very certain he can accomplish anything...like getting the moon or touching the sky.

He's very funny. He has a fantastic sense of humor and can make us laugh and laugh.

He's so sweet. He told me the other night, as he snuggled up with me: "Mommy, we're a match!" My heart melted.

Jackson is this amazing little person who has blessed my life the past four years. Happy birthday, little man. Thank you for being you! I love you so much!
He's very loved. Those are kisses on his face.
