My challenge for today is my favorite movie and what it's about.
Lost in Translation. I've always heard about it. I've seen things about it. But I never watched it. Until this year. When a very good friend of mine absolutely insisted I watch it. Insisted to the point of putting the film in my hands.
I sat and watched it. I fell in love with it from the very beginning. So Bob (Bill Murray) goes to Tokyo to shoot a whiskey commercial. He meets Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson). They form a friendship. It's the kind of friendship that is full of intense understanding of the other, without ever having to say much of anything. This is just my take on it, anyway.
I cannot express to you how much I love this film. It's simply beautiful. There is no other way to put it.
