Finally got finished with that room!

We finally finished Lil Man's room about two weeks ago. The pictures don't really show it very well, but I'll post them anyway.

Before it was lavender:

Now it's a tropical blue:

The darker teal color was the original color we had picked, but it turned out too dark for vaulted ceilings. It is now an accent color on the wall with the window.

This was a learning experience for us, since we've never painted a room before. It was frustrating and exhausting, but I'm proud of it. We made 5000 trips to Lowe's paint department, but that was okay with me because the paint mixer guy is hoooooottttt. Next up is the kids' bathroom. And then the kitchen. Or Lil Miss' room. It's exciting to have a home of our own and we can do these things. It gives you such a sense of pride. Let me know what you think!
