Oh hell yes!!

Up until Sunday, I figured I wouldn't be making it home to my brother's wedding. We've had a lot of shit happen the past few months and we.is.broke. But Mom and Dad bought us 2 plane tickets. Yeah, just two.

I'm taking Lil Miss. She's one of the flower girls. Lil Man was supposed to be a ring bearer, but we can't afford to pay his plane ticket...soooo....he probably wouldn't cooperate anyway. I do feel bad about leaving him, but he'll be with his dad and he's totally Daddy's shadow these days.

Lil Miss is super excited it'll be "just us girls!" I know she's really looking forward to this. And you know, after the past couple of years, maybe this is exactly what she and I need. We get to spend time with each other because of Girl Scouts, but this will be just us. I'm really psyched about it (you know, in addition to feeling really guilty about leaving Lil Man and Husband behind).

We leave in 14 days. I am so excited. Also, my Marine brother is coming in on the same day/same time as me. We get in on my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Daddy!! Dad doesn't know Marine brother is coming in on his birthday. Added bonus is Marine Brother doesn't know I'm coming in as well. Squeeeeeeeee for surprises!!
