Last summer sucked big time. We started off with the deaths of 2 friends. Also, some of our closest friends were gone most of the summer. It was sort of depressing, to say the least.
But this summer is going to be better! We're going to be doing things. Plus, we get to go out of town for a few days. Lil Miss is going to Girl Scout summer camp for 4 days. I am determined to make this summer better!
That said, it's only 2 months or so until the new school year begins. And last year I promised to be on the lookout for more eco-friendly school supplies. So I'm already searching. I figure I may be able to buy a few things here and there. That way we're not rushed the week before school and we're not buying things at the Wally World that I really don't want to buy. Today I am spending loads of time on reusablebags.com , as well as naturemoms.com. I also bookmarked a bunch of sites last year. It helps that I already have our Second Grade school supply list. So I hope to green up our lunches and school supplies.
