Day 13: A photo of your best friend(s).

Fairy Godmother

This is Allison. She's my other best friend. We've been friends since I was about 16, when we worked together. She's one of those amazing people who stay optimistic and beautiful, no matter what. We don't talk every day or even every month, but when we do talk we pick up where we left off. She's one of my Chicken Soup friends. When I have visited with her or when we have talked, I feel so much better about everything (even if I'm already feeling good!).

Morgan shares Allison's middle name. Allison is also my kids' Godmother. When Allison flew out for their Baptism, I was telling Morgan about her Godmother. Morgan said "You mean I have a Fairy Godmother?!" After that, we always call Allison "Fairy Godmother." When Allison got here, Morgan was running her fingers up and down Allison's back and we asked what she was doing. She said "Where are your wings?" Allison replied "Well, they come out when you need me the most. Because that's what Fairy Godmothers do." 

She's such a very dear friend to all of us, even Husband. We all love her so much.
